FULL SIMULATION DETAILS:
WHO
Individuals/groups who desire a more intelligent, challenging and realistic level of participation and interaction than the standard Airsoft event provides. Participants must be positive, motivated and objective oriented. Participants must be at least 13 years of age.
WHAT
Natural Selection 2006 will be an 8 hour Military Combat Simulation occurring over the course of one day. All participants will sign up to be on one of three opposing paramilitary elements, designated as Element 2, Element 4 and Element 6. One Commanding Officer (CO) and one Executive Officer (XO) position are available on each team and will be filled on a voluntary, first registered, first served basis. All elements will be tasked with achieving various objectives and maintaining them until the end of the operation. Unlike our more recent operations, element leadership will be given both strategic and tactical command. Elements themselves will decide how victory will best be achieved within the bounds of the rules of engagement. Also unlike our more recent operations, EAG Combat Simulations’ (EAG) staff and members of EAG's home team (ESOG) will not be acting as advisors to the elements, but will continue to act as observers/controllers through their participation in the operation as simulation support. It should be stressed that while (EAG) staff and ESOG members may be operating with or against an element at any given time during the operation, these individuals are not competing to achieve objective points. These individuals are strictly simulation support, their role is solely enhancement of the simulation and they are not eligible to win any awards or prizes associated with the simulation. Other new operational components include:
Battle Honor Corps based operational structure.
BHC qualification course ($10) offered on Friday night and Saturday morning.
BHC members may use the Ultra-Realistic Health Point System. Non-BHC members are eliminated by one hit.
BHC members’ wounds can be treated with designated medical supplies.
BHC members may liberate battle honor beads from dead or wounded enemy BHC members.
BHC members of the victorious element will receive battle honors.
Element leaders will be issued Engarian currency to assist in their mission.
Currency can be used to:
purchase supplies
hire contractors specializing in security, mobility, medical or demolitions
win friends and influence people
More realistic ROE
KIA lay dead for 30 minutes if not recovered by friendly forces.
Body armor rules
Close Quarter Combat kills authorized.
Engarian Currency can be liberated from dead.
The victorious element will receive a trophy and discounted registration to the next presentation so that they may return to defend their title.
WHEN
Natural Selection 2006 will be presented three times over the course of the year:
Saturday, 27 May, 2006, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, 22 July, 2006, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, 16 September, 2006, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
All participants are encouraged to arrive as early as Friday afternoon or early evening to in-process and meet informally with their element leadership. Element leaders are required to do so. All participants are also invited to stay for open play on Sunday.

SAFETY
All weapons to be used during the simulation will be chronographed. The velocity/engagement standards are as follows:
Three shot average of 0-300 with.25g: Targets may be engaged on full or semi auto at any distance (except point blank).
Three shot average of 301-350 with.25g: Targets that are farther than 25' may be engaged on full or semi auto. Targets that are within 25' may be engaged with a single shot, below the shoulders.
Three shot average of 351-400 with.25g: Targets that are farther than 50' may be engaged on full or semi auto. Targets that are within 50' may be engaged with a single shot, below the shoulders.
Our insurance requires us to tell you that facemasks with ear protection or balaclavas are required. Facemasks with ear protection or balaclavas are required for all players under 18.
All goggles must meet the following requirements:
1. Polycarbonate lens construction that meets or exceeds ANSI Z87.1 or ANSI Z80.3 standards.
2. Goggles must set securely against your face. No gaps that a bb could pass through may be present.
REGISTRATION
Due to popularity of our simulations and size constraints, EAG Combat Simulations is accepting a limited number of participants for each of the dates Natural Selection 2006 is offered. Once these limits have been reached, all other funds received will be returned to the sender. In an attempt to decrease the amount of time it takes to get things started on the morning of the simulation, we are streamlining the registration hour. As a result; the full registration fee ($50 NON-RENTAL/ $75 RENTAL) is required AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance (13 MAY 2006, 08 JULY 2006, 02 SEPTEMBER 2006) of the simulation date to reserve a spot on the field. Individuals who pay the full registration fee but are later unable to attend the simulation will be issued a 50% refund only if notice is given prior to 2 weeks in advance of the simulation date. The remaining 50% of the registration fee is non-refundable. Interested parties may register by reading the simulation information, filling out the simulation registration form and paying the registration fee. We accept cash, money orders, personal checks and Pay Pal online payment service. We do not extend credit or accept credit cards.
