I will be moving to Emmaus, near Allentown, shortly. I'd like to hear from any people in this area, teams included.

I have a 'shiba laptop with a geforce 5600 in it. 5205-S705. got an active matrix 15 inch screen in it as well. I just wish it didn't get so dusty all the time!

LOTR was possibly the best trilogy of movies ever made. definently better than any of that matrix or star wars crap. although you can't just contribute the success to the movie, i liked the books too.

I just saw it. it was OK but d**n I really miss the guy that played Dumbledore. the replacement has no charm and only shows up twice in the film. and he's dirtier looking and shorter too. bad bad bad.

hey, the new banners and colors are great! it looks a lot cleaner as well with some of the topics removed. you can also tell any team you find about it as well. possible even paintball sites, like Iron Cross' website, thats paintball in PA. It can't do any harm. the more people know about this site the better, and I'm sure the paintball sites get calls from airsofters that need info.
Another thing you can create fairly easily is to make a small button people can link here with. just send the button to a webmaster or get some webspace to make it a downloadable thing.
I know some websites of teams in PA. I will send them an email to let them know.

you must advertise your site. send an email to places like airsoft retreat where there are very active forums. get registered and tell people in PA about the site. also, change the note at the top cheeseball. it's very disheartening. Colour, as well, needs to be inviting and vibrant. that's why airsoft retreat is more popular than airsoft core. white or other bright color is always good base colour. On forum management, If you want to attract more members, you have to start out small. lose some of the topic forums you have in place. noteably, Cool Sites, Airsoft Accessories, Battle Stories, Noob Corner. These are forums whos topics can be assimilated into other forums, like general discussion and the various weapon forums. Another way to stay alive is to introduce new forums gradually, say someone posts a review in general, move it into a new review forum to keep the idea of a constantly updating site alive, which helps gain members.

I have a G36c. it is an awesome weapon. it is also very realistic. But if you are into woodland I would suggest something longer like an M16VN or FAMAS.
here's some info on it:
the g36c is the smallest weapon of the g36 class. It is used by the KSK and various law enforcement agencies in the US. The airsoft version weighs the same amount as a real G36c without a magazine loaded. this is because the real g36c is made of durable plastics much like the TM version. Some parts on the airsoft version are plastic but look like metal. pretty much everything that is metal on the real gun, is on the airsoft version. It also is fairly heavy, which gives it a nice feel, but you wont be going 1 handed with it. The entire gun is extremely sturdy. probably the most durable airsoft gun ever developed. i heard some guy had his run over by a car and it still worked. it takes a mini battery, but that isn't a big problem if your going to do afternoon games. bring an extra along just in case. it also has a 470 round high cap magazine. comes in handy. the mock bullets in the standard mag are great, you can't tell the difference. It has general good range and can compete against longer range rifles, but they still have a slight accuracy advantage. it has a high ROF to keep their heads down while you move forward to get them. its very upgradeable externally and internally, and all the parts are interchangeable wthout modification for a conversion kit. Some people say its ugly but it is a very scary rifle up close. not at all bad looking either. the stock is great too. rubber grip on the end, folds inwards, but be warned if your left handed like me, the stock makes it hard to hold the gun forgrip when its closed.

As far as I know there are only 2 or 3 sites where airsoft is played. I think they're all in the northwest, as well. I wonder if Paintball places allow it as well?

Flectarn is good where it was meant to be used, meaning it blends well with the forests in western europe. PA has forests similar to what we have over here, so I say its a d**n good idea. not to mention its cheap and can be found everywhere. alpenflage works good too (i know because I been shot numerous times by a bush that just happened to have a twig pointed at me).
