Just last Saturday I held a G36. Although they look cool, they have a TON of plastic and hardly any metal. They did pretty good skirmishing though (I got hit a couple times by it). IMHO I don't think I would buy it but then, thats just my humble opinion. ;D

I have a G36c. it is an awesome weapon. it is also very realistic. But if you are into woodland I would suggest something longer like an M16VN or FAMAS.
here's some info on it:
the g36c is the smallest weapon of the g36 class. It is used by the KSK and various law enforcement agencies in the US. The airsoft version weighs the same amount as a real G36c without a magazine loaded. this is because the real g36c is made of durable plastics much like the TM version. Some parts on the airsoft version are plastic but look like metal. pretty much everything that is metal on the real gun, is on the airsoft version. It also is fairly heavy, which gives it a nice feel, but you wont be going 1 handed with it. The entire gun is extremely sturdy. probably the most durable airsoft gun ever developed. i heard some guy had his run over by a car and it still worked. it takes a mini battery, but that isn't a big problem if your going to do afternoon games. bring an extra along just in case. it also has a 470 round high cap magazine. comes in handy. the mock bullets in the standard mag are great, you can't tell the difference. It has general good range and can compete against longer range rifles, but they still have a slight accuracy advantage. it has a high ROF to keep their heads down while you move forward to get them. its very upgradeable externally and internally, and all the parts are interchangeable wthout modification for a conversion kit. Some people say its ugly but it is a very scary rifle up close. not at all bad looking either. the stock is great too. rubber grip on the end, folds inwards, but be warned if your left handed like me, the stock makes it hard to hold the gun forgrip when its closed.
